MELA
A Mela is a festival, a celebration, an outpouring of spirit and energy. In this series of paintings, which continues my exploration of the line and the color field, I have explored what happens at the boundary between lines, where cracks and fissures take place. Where colors meet, energy and tension are generated—sometimes this leads to friction, sometimes isolation and sometimes fracture.
You never know what will happen at a mela.
